This calculator addresses one of the most fundamental equations of motion that appears in physics (specifically kinematics).
It is used to calculate the displacement of an object moving with constant acceleration.

Basic Formula:

s=ut+ 12at2

What the variables mean:

s: Displacement/Distance (the distance between the starting point and the ending point in a specific direction). Measured in meters, or a similar 'length unit'.

u: Initial Velocity (how fast the object was going at the very beginning). Measured in meters per second (m/s).

t: Time (how long the object was moving). Measured in seconds (s).

a: Acceleration (the rate at which the velocity is changing). Measured in meters per second per second (m/s²).
