Introduction:

This page allows you to easily add up a series of either positive or negative amounts or quantities. Each amount is recorded in a list, allowing you to easily see and edit any errors at any point. This calculator is similar to the Accountant's Calculator, but is slightly simpler, since it does not have the same financial formatting requirements. It builds on the Simple Totalising Calculator, but lets you add a label to each line, for you to enter a short description of the item, making it great for many office tasks along the lines of a 'bill of materials'.

Instructions

  1. Enter each quantity into the text-box labelled 'Amount:'
  2. Hit the ENTER or RETURN key on your keyboard, or press either the 'Add' or 'Subtract' button
  3. Click the spanner icon next to any entry to Edit or Remove that item
  4. Press the 'Clear Results' button if you wish to discard the current results list, otherwise further amounts will be added to the same total.
